Spring 2007 Wilderness Assessment Course
Lees Valley, Canterbury - 22nd to 25th November 2007
VENUE:
At Lees Valley, Canterbury. GR E24 451 S57 839.
The venue is west of Oxford. The road into the valley is very narrow in parts, gravel and winding. It is strongly recommended you get there before dark. Also important to fill up your tank as there are no petrol stations (or pubs or shops) in the valley.

WHEN:
Course starts Thursday November 22nd to the afternoon of Sunday November 25th 2007
TIMES:
The Camp will be available for accommodation from Wednesday 21st. The Course begins at 0800hrs Thursday morning and finishes approx 1500hrs on Sunday. A Course timetable will be provided.
CO_ORDINATORS:
Linda Pike is Course Co-ordinator.
Andrew Pealing is providing Administration support
Assessors will be LandSAR Search Dogs National Assessors and Police Assessors.
WORMING:
Training will be on farm land. The land owners require that all dogs are treated
for Hydatids (sheep measles) prior to the course.
It is essential that all dogs are treated by a vet for Hydatids and a
certificate provided. This must take place between 3 and 28 days prior to the course.
The worming certificate will need to be sighted by course organisers - dogs that
don't have one will not be permitted in the valley.
OTHER:
Dog food will be available as per past courses
